No Knock List Signup

To minimize unwanted solicitation, the Solicitors Ordinance has been amended to include a "No Knock List" option for Nichols Hills residents. Posting your front door and/or adding your address to this list prohibits "permitted" solicitors (those with a legal City Solicitor's Permit) from visiting your home.

The current ordinance states:

"It shall be unlawful for any Person to enter or remain upon any privately owned premises within the City of Nichols Hills for the purpose of making any Solicitation if that premises is listed on the No Knock List or where there is posted a notice stating "No Solicitors" or "No Solicitations" or words of similar import, advising that Solicitations are not desired."

To add your residence to the No Knock List, use our online form or call the Nichols Hills Police Department at (405) 843-5672.

Upon filling out and submitting this registration form, your address will be added to the No Knock List. The City requires solicitors to purchase a Solicitor’s Permit. Each solicitor will receive a copy of the No Knock List. Solicitors are required to carry and display their solicitor’s permit as identification at all times.
